1. These terms

These terms apply to your use of the DoingOkay app and website. By using DoingOkay, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms. If you download the app through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s applicable standard end-user licence agreement also applies.

2. What DoingOkay provides

DoingOkay provides personal organisation, planning, companion and reflection features. The app can help you organise money, food, tasks, routines, location-based support and selected health information. Some features use third-party Apple services or OpenAI.

3. Not professional or emergency advice

DoingOkay is not a medical device, healthcare provider, financial adviser, therapist, emergency service or substitute for qualified professional advice. Information, calculations, prompts and AI responses may be incomplete or inaccurate. Check important decisions independently and seek appropriate professional help.

Do not rely on DoingOkay for emergencies, crisis support, medication decisions, diagnosis, investment decisions or access to essential funds.

4. Ava Chat and AI output

Ava Chat uses artificial intelligence and can produce incorrect, unexpected or unsuitable responses. You remain responsible for decisions made using the app. Do not submit content you do not have the right to use or information you do not want processed by OpenAI.

5. Your information and device

You are responsible for the information you enter, the permissions you grant and the security of your device and Apple Account. DoingOkay’s OpenAI credential is held on the protected server and is not stored in the app. Keep backups appropriate to your needs and review important money, task, food and health information for accuracy.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use DoingOkay unlawfully or to harm another person;
  • attempt to bypass security or interfere with the app or website;
  • reverse engineer the app except where the law expressly permits it;
  • use the app to infringe another person’s rights; or
  • misrepresent DoingOkay, Ava or the app as providing regulated advice.

7. Availability and changes

We may improve, change, suspend or remove features as the app develops. Apple, iCloud, HealthKit, Calendar, Maps, Photos and OpenAI features also depend on services outside our control. We cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

8. Intellectual property

DoingOkay, Ava, the dragon artwork, branding, interface and original app content belong to DoingOkay or its licensors. These terms give you a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use the app; they do not transfer ownership of the app or brand.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, DoingOkay is provided “as is” and we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, decisions made from AI output, or loss caused by inaccurate user-entered information or unavailable third-party services.

These terms do not affect consumer rights that cannot be limited under the laws that apply to you.

10. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without removing any mandatory consumer protection available where you live.
